Our primary goal at CMABMA is to assist you on your journey toward greater creative and financial success.

In your goal toward greater creative and financial success, one of the most important things to understand when you are considering the marketing and promotion of your creative business, is that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to an affective marketing and business management strategy. That’s why, depending on your particular creative practice, your current position within your marketplace, and your business goals, we have to approach and tailor your strategies based on each individual client’s story.  In essence, it’s all about you.

  • Concept Development
  • Brand Development Strategy
  • Marketing Strategy
  • Social Media Strategy
  • Digital Advertising and Promotion
  • Distribution and Sales Platforms and Channels
  • Business Structure and Finance
  • Have a clear understanding of who they are and what they wish to achieve in their chosen creative profession
  • Are comfortable collaborating with a team of like minded people who are all working toward your goals and objectives

  • Have a strong work ethic and are highly motivated to succeed

  • Are disciplined, consistent, and optimistically persistent

  • Have a clear understanding of the obstacles and challenges that may exist within their chosen creative profession

  • Are respectful of themselves, their business, and the team with which they are working

  • Have sufficient financial resources to be able to fund the strategies that we collectively agree are needed to ensure the best possible outcomes

  • Are acutely aware of the speculative nature of working in a creative profession, where outcomes and results, even though we are all working toward the positive, are impossible to guarantee, no matter how hard we have all worked

Fees are what I charge to work with a client.

Costs are all the expenses that we allocate to spend on your project.

FEES:

I work within two fee strategies:

1: Commission based.

Depending on the scale and potential outcome of your project, I charge between 5% and 25%.

2: A fixed fee based on each project.

This will vary greatly depending on the scale and time required to successfully execute your project/s, and could be anywhere from the scale of a new musician or band’s first song release, which could fall in the hundreds of dollars, to managing an entrepreneur’s or solopreneur’s portfolio of projects over an extended period of time, which could run into thousands of dollars.

Whether, and which, fee strategy would best suit your project or projects, is something we would discuss once we have established if we are a good match to work together.

COSTS:

Costs fall into categories:

  • Creating a web presence outside of social media
  • Non organic social media advertising and promotion
  • Distribution and Sales Platforms and Channels
  • Artwork and branding and PR related materials
  • Any required content creation that is needed across all platforms
  • And the list can go on

Without looking at the specific needs of a particular project it is impossible to establish an accurate cost, although, once again it could range from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars depending on the scale and potential of the project, but one thing I am certain of, it’s not how much you spend, but how well it is spent.

This would also happen during discussions once we have established if we are a good match to work together.

In our current internet based digital world, perception is almost everything, and as such, we feel it is in the best interest of our creative clients to retain all perceived credit for everything that is put out under their banner, so we do not disclose any information through any means about any of the clients we work with. Should a client wish to sing our praises, then thank you very much, but it is not necessary, our business model isn’t built off the back of us using you to further our ends, it is built off the back of us serving you and your ends, period.
